How Are You Showing Up to Life?

I love when people raise their hand and say yes to themselves and their growth.

It is the first step in taking your life under control, when you take responsibility.

One way or the other, you are always the epicentre and the creator of all the events in your life. Whether you consciously realise it or not.

I do a lot of coaching and discovery calls with people from all over the world helping them with their challenges.

I have learned, 90% of success is simply showing up. If you show up diligently to your responsibilities and priorities, you make progress.

Life always meets you half-way, but it will never meet you more than half way. Therefore you always have to take action. The more intentional action you take, the easier it becomes.

For some people it is difficult to take the first step, even when that step is just showing up on the call.

There could be various reasons ( got confused over time zone, used a different email address so didn’t receive a confirmation, overbooked myself, or simply forgot).

Ultimately, it is all just an excuse of a sloppy attitude to your responsibilities.

I admit, accidents happen and sometimes I give the benefit of a doubt, but experience shows: those who missed one call are likely to miss all other calls.

If you don’t show up on the call, you don’t just show disrespect to the person who is waiting for you on the line, but it also reveals the truth why you are struggling.

Most likely, they don’t show up elsewhere in their life, whether it is sending an email to potential clients, or picking up a phone and calling prospects, or doing some work around mind-set and improving thinking.

Most people that jump on the call with me are stuck in one way or the other. And in 99% of the time, the solution to their problems can be easily found.

Then there comes another level of showing up, which takes the form of investment.

Are you willing to invest in yourself?

That’s where all the gremlins start coming out based on the fears and inner insecurities.

Most people look at the investment in the info products or services as a cost. It is essential to look at it from a ROI ( return on investment) perspective.

I always say, one idea can change your entire life if you take it to heart and act on it.

Now what would life transformation be worth to you?

You cannot really put a price tag on your transformation. Simply, because it is priceless.

The problem with most people is, they just want to take.

I had one lady on the call recently, who gets all the free stuff online she can. A typical freeloader, who is not willing to invest in herself or her growth.

She just wanted the free resources. Hence, she jumped on a free discovery call.

Yet she created an online course and she intends to sell it to other people.

So, I challenged her thinking by saying, “So, it is ok for you to charge for your online course, but it is not ok for other people to charge for their courses.”

It stopped her in her tracks.

Her attitude contradicts the laws of the universe. You cannot get something for nothing.

Many people forget: money is energy, and it requires the free flow. They more you give the more you will be able to receive.

I am not encouraging you to squander your money. All I am asking is for you to think why you might have the money problems.

The difficult part is the investment of your energy and efforts and overcoming your self-sabotage that says you are not good enough.

So, the money investment in yourself automatically says, “I believe in myself enough to bet on myself”

Plus, if you have the skin in the game, you are more likely to implement the strategies and systems presented in the program you buy.

There is nothing to buy here, but I just wanted to encourage you to think how you show up to life and what your attitude is to investment.
