Have you ever tried putting your underwear after you have put on your jeans? Or your bra after you have put on your blouse?

No, me neither.

Well, I suppose, I did, when I was a child and didn’t know any better.

But when you grow up, you just don’t do it. Like you don’t put the hair conditioning before you wash your hair. Or, you don’t put foundation before applying face cream.

You get my point.

We all perfectly understand the importance of doing things in order.

It is called common sense.

When it comes to building a coaching business though, most women who are stuck, don’t do things in the right order.

Most struggling coaches and speakers don’t really have clarity on their message and proposition.

They are desperately looking for clients, but they don’t really know what it is they are trying to sell.

They think they do. But they cannot communicate it in a clear and compelling way.

New coaches get very excited about the idea of personal growth. They have seen its impact in their own life, so they are trying so hard to sell the idea of personal development.

They communicate it in the language they understand or they try to package it with a big “pie in the sky” kind of promises.

For most people, it sounds like some kind of mumbo jumbo or an overused and over abused law of attraction bunch of rubbish.

Of course, the impact of coaching is truly transformational and it does change your entire life.

But such positioning doesn’t sell nowadays. It might have in the 80s…

Before you try to find your ideal clients, you have to get crystal clear on what it is you are offering and why it is important.
